Redesigned Prescription Detail & Refill Experience
The Prescription detail page has been redesigned with a new interface, improved refill and return workflows and enhanced inventory traceability.
Redesigned page with improved visual hierarchy, color-coded prescription states, and more consistent action placement.
Structured refill quantity tracking ties refill quantities to the original prescription to prevent over-dispensing; refill summaries, status indicators, and a refined request and approval workflow make refill management faster and clearer.
New returned prescription and returned refill workflows restore prescription availability with a complete audit trail; return validation requires quantities to match the original dispensed amount and inventory lot.
Inventory lot visibility is now available directly in prescription history — including for controlled products at clinics without lot tracking — and prescription label tracking records print history and requires a reason for reprints.
Enhanced Appointment Scheduling
Scheduling appointments has been redesigned to give staff more context directly in the dialog — client details, appointment history, and patient information are now visible without navigating away.
New Credit Balance Reminder for Outstanding Balances
A new reminder on the client's Financial tab proactively alerts staff when a client has both an available credit balance and an outstanding balance, making it easier to apply existing credits toward unpaid invoices before collecting additional payments.
Users can temporarily dismiss the reminder or permanently dismiss it for a specific client; permanent dismissals are recorded in the activity log and reminders automatically reappear if the conditions arise again.
View Lot Details on Purchase Orders
Clinics using lot tracking can now review exactly how inventory was received across individual lots directly from the purchase order. Eligible line items can be expanded by clicking the expand icon or anywhere within the item row to display lot-level details as a read-only audit trail.
View Messaging History Across Group Locations
For clinics on a group account with shared Clients and Messaging, client messaging history is now visible directly from the Client page. A new Messaging tab provides read-only access to conversations and MMS attachments shared across participating locations, with Clinic columns and filters to identify where each conversation or attachment originated.
Improved Invoice Report Performance
Performance improvements to the Invoice Line Items Report and Invoice Summary Report reduce execution times and improve responsiveness when working with large reporting periods.
Shepherd AI Updates
TranscribeAI Saving & Recording Improvements
TranscribeAI includes several updates this release to improve recording reliability and streamline the workflow from recording to review.
Recordings are now saved continuously while you dictate and immediately whenever paused or stopped, so interrupted sessions can be recovered and resumed from the most recently saved version. Visual save status indicators confirm when recordings have been successfully saved.
The in-widget Review button has been removed during active recordings — users now complete a recording before reviewing and confirming content, reducing the chance of accidentally interrupting an active session.
Transcripts are saved to your profile as soon as you confirm Stop Recording, making them available in My Profile > Transcripts earlier in the workflow without waiting for the review process to complete. The Confirm & Save workflow for syncing AI-generated content into the SOAP is unchanged.
