Your Subscription

Admin users can view the clinic's subscription under the Clinic Info tab of Clinic Settings in your Shepherd admin menu. This is what you'll see:

  1. View any balance, credit, or prepayment amount at the top of your subscription box

  2. View your billing cycle. The Subscription Period Start is when the billing period began (if you were an active clinic when this feature went live, this will display the date of the feature launch for your first cycle - this does not adjust your billing amount). Period end is your next billing date.

  3. If your clinic is a Pet Assure partner and/or is using Shepherd Pay, view the application of the applicable discount here on your subscription.

  4. View the quantity of mass SMS units remaining on your subscription

Click 'Go to Billing Portal' to access your billing portal

Your Billing Portal

From the billing portal login page, send yourself the verification email and click the link in the email you receive. This will log you in to the billing portal.

Click the bolded here link to confirm your subscription.

You should have only one subscription listed. The checkbox for 'Manage this subscription' should already be selected. Simply click Save.

Note: the dollar amount shown when you're confirming your subscription in the Plan column is not your monthly subscription fee. It is simply an indication of the base plan your subscription was built on without additional DVM licenses, packages, or discounts that may be applied.

Now you're ready to manage your subscription. The billing portal offers a more detailed view than the snapshot in your Shepherd account, plus the ability to make some updates. Here's what you can do from within the portal:

  • View the status of your subscription, including balance, credits, and estimated next billing amount

  • Update your billing contact information

  • Update the credit card on file for your subscription payment

  • View your invoice history
