πŸš€ New Features & Capabilities!

Introducing the New Boarding Report

We’re excited to launch our latest report designed to give you enhanced visibility into your boarding operations. The Boarding Report offers a comprehensive overview of both active and cancelled boarding reservations - complete with dates, duration, status, assigned resources and wards, client and patient details, and a total reservation count. It’s the perfect tool for identifying trends and optimizing your scheduling workflow.

You can generate the report by either arrival or departure date, and for added insights, it includes a dedicated cancellations table to help track and understand cancellation patterns.

πŸ› οΈ Existing Feature Updates!

Enhanced QOH Tracking with Inventory Lots

With the launch of inventory lots, we previously added a Quantity on Hand (QOH) visibility column to the inventory transactions view. Formerly, this column displayed only the current QOH for all entries of the same inventory item, regardless of their usage.

We’ve now optimized this logic to display QOH as a running calculation, giving you clearer, time-based visibility into stock levels as items are used or added.

Please note:

  • Due to system limitations, historical QOH values cannot be retroactively calculated.

  • As a result, QOH will appear as --- (null) for past transactions until the item is used going forward.

  • Once a new transaction (e.g., a sale or usage) occurs for an inventory item, QOH values will begin to display accurately and update dynamically moving forward.

This change enhances your ability to monitor inventory trends and transaction-level stock shifts over time.

Improved Handling of Placeholder Inventory Lots

We’ve streamlined the behavior of existing placeholder inventory lots to reduce clutter and improve the accuracy of your inventory records.

A placeholder lot is automatically created when an item is administered but no existing inventory lot is selected - typically because the item has not yet been received into inventory. These lots contain no defined fields and serve as temporary placeholders, allowing you to receive inventory against them at a later time.

What’s Changing

The latest enhancements focus on how placeholder lots are treated in an item’s lot history:

  • Automatic Cleanup: If an item associated with a placeholder lot is immediately reversed (e.g., the administration is undone), the placeholder lot will now be automatically deleted, helping keep your lot history clean and uncluttered.

  • Archiving When Edited: If any edits are made to a placeholder lot - such as updates to its identifying details - the system will archive the lot rather than delete it. This preserves important context while removing it from active use.

These updates ensure your inventory data stays organized, accurate, and better aligned with real-world workflows.

Reporting Update – PDF Footer Titles for Clearer Identification

We’ve updated the PDF export formatting across all reports (with the exception of the new Boarding Report) to now include the following in the footer of each page:

  • Report Title

  • Selected Time Period

Why this change matters:

  • πŸ—‚ Improved Organization: If printed pages get separated or mixed with others, each one can still be quickly identified.

  • πŸ–¨ Print-Friendly Clarity: Even a single printed page retains context, making reviews and sharing easier.

  • βœ… Enhanced Traceability: Ensures every page of a report has the necessary information to verify its purpose and timeframe at a glance.

This small but impactful update helps keep your reporting tidy, professional, and easy to navigate - whether you’re printing, saving, or sharing.

Reporting Enhancement – Discount Report Now Includes Client Type

We’ve expanded the Discount Report with a valuable new data column: Client Type.

This addition allows you to filter and analyze discounts based on client categories, such as employee or rescue groups, or any other custom client types you use in your practice.

Why this matters:

  • πŸ” Improved Insight: Gain a clearer understanding of which types of clients are receiving discounts.

  • πŸ“Š More Targeted Analysis: Easily track discount usage by internal versus external clients.

  • 🧾 Audit & Compliance: Helps identify trends or outliers in discount allocation, supporting internal reviews or financial audits.

  • 🎯 Strategic Decision-Making: Use client-type-specific discount data to inform pricing strategies, promotional planning, or policy adjustments.

This enhancement makes your discount reporting more granular, flexible, and actionable - empowering you with deeper visibility into how discounts are applied across your client base.
