How Does it Work?

The Weave & Shepherd integration provides an upgraded and enhanced experience in the form of the features below for our integrated (Weave Pro & Elite) customers.

  • Weave Phones show you key patient information right when they call, including:

    • Caller's name

    • Upcoming appointment info

    • When they're due for an appointment

    • Tasks for the customer

    • Special notes and follow-ups.

  • Schedule: You can also view any upcoming appointments for their pets within the Schedule app with an integrated Weave & Shepherd system.

  • Weave’s two-way text lets you instantly communicate with customers in a way that is quick and convenient for both parties.

  • Text Confirmation: an affirmative response e.g. “Yes”, “Y”, “Confirm” etc. can automatically confirm the appointment in the Shepherd system.

  • Reminders: With the integrated schedule, Weave is able to send automated reminders for any upcoming appointments or continued care treatments such as vaccinations etc.

Below is an overview of the onboarding process.

Activating the Weave Integration

  • Under the Shepherd 'Admin' menu, click 'Integrations,' and select “Weave”

  • Turn on “Enable Integration”

  • Go to Clinic settings and copy your Clinic ID.

  • Now you shall log in to the Weave Admin Portal and click on “Data Sync” and click on “Add new Integration”

  • Select “Shepherd” from the drop-down and input the clinic ID you copied earlier.

  • Alternatively you can reach out to your Weave Account manager or sales@getweave.com requesting an upgrade. An onboarding expert will help you to enable the sync.

FAQs

  1. Does the Weave and Shepherd integration include Weave's Online Scheduling feature?

    1. No, Weave's Online Scheduling product doesn't currently integrate with Shepherd. However, Shepherd customers have the option to use Weave Online Scheduling in a non-integrated way. The Online Scheduling page will clarify that these are appointment requests, and the office will reach out if needed.
