Would you like to be a beta tester?

VetTalk offers a fully automated education platform that delivers educational content (videos and PDFs) directly to pet owners' phones. Subscribers are provided 50 custom branded videos. We are looking for 2 pilot customers. You will be able to test the integration free for 2 months and if you continue the service as a customer, you will be given a $500 credit in your account. Schedule a demo HERE.

VetVerifi automates fetching & verifying routine vaccination records between pet services companies and vet clinics, putting a stop to all of those phone calls to your front desk asking "can you email over vaccination records for Josie?" from your local groomers and kennels. We're looking for a handful of Shepherd practices that are willing to test out the integration and put vaccination record checks on autopilot. Bonus: for those interested in testing it out, your clinic gets full access to our vaccination verification platform free for life! Learn more HERE.

Bundles πŸ“¦

  • Nested Bundles πŸ™Œ

    • You all asked for it, and we heard you! You can now nest a bundle within a bundle. Updating the original bundle will update it in any bundle its nested within. Read more about how nesting bundles works here in our help article.

  • Select Bundle Items to Add

    • You can now select from items in a bundle when you add it to the treatment plan, invoice, or an estimate, omitting products or services from the bundle that aren't needed.

Bulk Edit | Mass Increase Markup for Products Linked to Inventory

Use bulk edit to mass increase the markup for products linked to inventory items. We suggest filtering by product type, select applicable products, and update the markup percentage all at once saving valuable admin time for you clinic. Find this setting under the Markup subtab within the Bulk Price Increase tab in Products Bulk Edit.

Boarding Calendar | Drag and Drop Reservations πŸ“†

Drag and drop boarding reservations on the boarding calendar to reschedule them or move them to a different resource.

Merge Patient ➑️

Shepherd's merge patient feature lives within the patient edit page. We've adjusted the user interface and verbiage to make it more clear what will take place when you complete a patient merge action.

Per Patient Totals on Invoices πŸ’°

Invoices with multiple patients will now show a total per patient in addition to the final total calculation at the bottom of the invoice.

Estimates | Override/Change Item Price πŸ’΅

Edit line item prices in your estimates the same way you would on the invoice and have it carry over to the invoice once the estimate is added, approved, and the treatments are administered in the plan. The invoice will indicate that the price of a line item pulled from an estimate was edited manually with the warning icon shown below.

Reports πŸ“„

  • Controlled Drug Report

    • You can now track bottle numbers for controlled drugs and find the lot and bottle details on the controlled drug report

  • COGS Column on Inventory Items Sales/Usage Report

    • You can now find a column depicting the cost of goods sold for each inventory item on the Inventory Items Sales/Usage report

⚠️ Inventory

In preparation for larger upcoming improvements to our inventory feature, you'll begin to see some changes with this release. Here are a few points to take note of:

  • In addition to vaccines, controlled drug products now must also have at least one lot associated.

  • Controlled drug products will not be able to be edited and saved if there is no corresponding lot data. This will not affect ongoing administration of such products, so you can take your time to update them.

  • Every time a controlled drug product is administered, the bottle number, lot number, serial number and manufacturer associated with the lot selection during administration is displayed in the controlled drug report

    • Please note, this information will not be available for products until the lot information is created for them

  • Expiration date is a required field for all lots

  • Bottle number can be added to all lots
