The Kontak (PetDesk Phones) integration connects your VoIP phone system with Shepherd, allowing your client service representatives (CSRs) to access relevant client and pet information in real time during calls.

This integration is designed specifically for customers who use Kontak (PetDesk Phones) but do not use the full PetDesk integration.

How to Enable the Kontak (PetDesk Phones) Integration

To set up the Kontak (PetDesk Phones) integration in Shepherd:

  1. Go to Admin -> Integrations -> Data Connections -> Kontak (PetDesk Phones)

  2. Toggle the Enable Integration switch to activate the connection

  3. Navigate to Admin -> Clinic Settings and copy your Clinic ID

  4. Contact PetDesk Support to provide your Clinic ID and finalize your account configuration

  5. Log in to your PetDesk Phones account using the credentials provided for each location

If you have multiple locations, be sure to specify which one you’re integrating. Each location has a unique Clinic ID and will be connected to a separate PetDesk instance.
