All Prescriptions will now be assigned a unique prescription number upon creation. The Rx number will be associated with the original prescription and any refills and will be printed on the Rx label. This number can be viewed and used to search anywhere you would find a patient's Rx in Shepherd, including, but not limited to the SOAP, patient profile, and the medical record.

Rx labels have been updated to include the Rx number, a 'Keep out of reach of children' warning, and the date the Rx was filled.

Along with the addition of the Rx numbers, we've added a prescription report under the Reporting tab in your Shepherd menu. Sort, filter, and export prescription data in your selected timeframe.

Clinics utilizing bulk edit can now mass increase product selling prices by a flat percentage. Under the Bulk Edit tab of your Shepherd admin menu, under Products, use the new tab called Bulk Price Increase. Sort and filter applicable products and select the ones you wish to increase the price for all at once.

When a patient is checked in for a boarding reservation from the boarding schedule, the SOAP status will default to the newly released 'Boarding' status. The SOAP status can be manually changed to Boarding if necessary. This new status will separate clinical appointments from boarding reservations on your Dashboard.

Check out the latest update to the Shepherd Dashboard: the Boarding tab! View all checked in boarding patients on the boarding tab, separate from the Active Patients tab for a more organized view of the current clinical and boarding patients' status. Just like on the Active Patients tab, click a row to access that patient's open SOAP.

Closed text message conversations with clients can now be easily added to the assigned patient's medical record if it wasn't done in the action of closing. Using the Upload to MR button adjacent to the client's name at the top of a closed conversation, you'll instantly have the conversation history added on the patient's profile in the Patient History, Lifecycle, and MR download.

We've added more filtering options to the Patient Lifecycle for further customization. Options include Tasks, Addendum notes, and the following sub sections from the SOAP:

Individual tasks now show the date the note was created and the date it was last modified within the task modal.

In-house and Reference Lab orders can now be ordered simultaneously. After they're administered in the SOAP, the IDEXX reference and inhouse modals appear one after another.
