Schedule Views

Use different schedule views to see a doctor's weekly schedule, today's appointments only, etc.

Updated over a month ago

There are many different ways to view the appointment schedule depending on what you are looking for.

Calendar & List Layout

You can view your scheduling page in two main formats: as a calendar layout or in a list format.

Within each layout viewing style, you have three additional appointment viewing options: Provider, Day, Week.

Provider

Provider is the default view, which shows all providers for a single view.

You can use the single arrow icons by the date title to navigate a day forward or backward, or you can use the double arrow icons to navigate a week forward or backward. Additionally you can select the calendar icon to go to a specific day.

Day

The day view combines all providers into one list for a single view of the day based on time.

Week

The week view will show all providers and all appointments for the week together. Subjectively, the weekly view is helpful when you apply a filter to view only one provider as this would allow you to see their schedule on a weekly basis rather than a daily basis as seen under the Provider view.

Other Actions

Pin Providers

While on the provider view, you can pin a single or multiple providers so those providers would be listed first, regardless of the order in the Admin settings. This is helpful if you have a lot of providers but only 3 are working on that particular day and you want to pin them for the day to see first and reduce scrolling.

Refresh

There is a refresh button at the top right that allows you to see the most recent changes and avoid double-booking an appointment. Note: you will also see a notice if another user is scheduling an appointment at the same time.

Expand

There is an expand button at the top right that allows you to expand the schedule to a full screen and be able to see more provider columns at the same time.

Filtering

There are additional filtering options available for all views. These include seeing canceled or no show appointments and being able to filter to see certain providers.

If a user applies a filter view, such as only seeing certain providers, that filtered view will save and always load for that user until they reset it.
