Activating the AllyDVM Integration
Order AllyDVM
Complete the AllyDVM Order Form.
Select Shepherd from the Practice Management System dropdown.
After submitting, you’ll be prompted to enable the Shepherd + AllyDVM integration and will receive an Order Confirmation email.
Configure in Shepherd
Within Shepherd, navigate to Admin → Integrations → Data Connections
Select AllyDVM and toggle the integration ON.
Send Credentials to AllyDVM
In Shepherd, go to Admin → Clinic Settings.
Locate your Clinic ID.
Email the Clinic ID to cloud_pms@allydvm.com.
AllyDVM will finalize the integration.
Shepherd Settings
If AllyDVM is managing appointment and service reminders:
Appointment Reminders – No need to set these up in Shepherd.
Service Reminders – Must still be created in Shepherd (auto-generated).
Skip setting up notification schedules.
Disable Duplicates – Turn OFF “Send Appointment Notifications” and “Send Reminder Notifications” under Client Communications to avoid duplicate reminders.
