We recently released a feature allowing you to link forms to specific appointment types that will send automatically when the appointment is scheduled. With this release, these automatically sent forms are now linked to the patient on the appointment (if applicable). If multiple patients are on the appointment, the form(s) will be sent and linked to each patient automatically.

Under each appointment notification template, there is now an option to send the notification based on appointment status with the toggle "Send Notifications to CONFIRMED Status Appointments?". If the toggle is on then appointments with "upcoming" and "confirmed" statuses will receive notifications. If the toggle is off then only appointments with the "upcoming" status will receive the notifications.

Multiple reminders with separate due dates and notification schedules can now be created for one trigger product. This is helpful with combination vaccines when one vaccine is due in three years and the other vaccine is due in one year. With this update, reminders are now grouped by trigger product on the main reminder page.

Shepherd Pay clinics now have the ability to decide whether they would like to automatically save client credit card details or not when invoice payments are processed. This is a clinic-wide setting the practice owner or admin user can manage under Admin > Clinic Settings > Settings > Shepherd Pay from your Shepherd menu. This setting is toggled on by default for existing clinics at the time of release.

Following the boarding calendar changes from our recent release, we've updated the patient check-in logic to match exactly what you're used to from the schedule! The Check-in button will always be available on the reservation until the point at which the patient is checked in - then it becomes a View SOAP button that will take you directly to the patient's open SOAP.

Under Failed Notification Events in your Shepherd Admin menu, the SMS tab now has an Error Code column on the table. View the code and a link to Twilio's error code dictionary, our third-party texting provider, for a description of the specific error code that triggered the failed SMS event.

When importing an exam, the edit screen is now open by default for quick notes and changes rather than having to select edit after importing. Also, when importing a previous exam, the supervising doctor is now automatically changed to reflect the doctor currently assigned to the SOAP where the exam is being imported. The supervising doctor can be changed or added if not present.

We now support Canadian credentials and test codes within the IDEXX integration.
