Vaccination Certificate

Export and print the details of one or more administered vaccinations for a patient.

Updated over a week ago

Vaccine certificates can be emailed directly from Shepherd, printed as a PDF or you can also download a CSV file if needed. Vaccine certificates are located under the Vaccinations tab on the patient's profile.

Verifying Vaccines and Archiving Vaccines

NOTE: When a vaccine is administered, if the vaccine has the same name as a previous entry under the vaccination list, the vaccine with the oldest due date will automatically be archived. If vaccines do not have the same exact name, you will need to archive them manually if new vaccines have been administered. You will need to archive any old vaccines before emailing or exporting the certificate.

If you need to archive a vaccine as a new one has been administered, you will select the vaccines that need to be archived and then select the Archive option. Note: vaccine history is separate from the patient's reminders.

Emailing, Printing, and Downloading Certificates

If the vaccines listed for the patient are correct, you will select the Email, Download, or Print icon. When sending a certificate via email the client's email address will populate by default but you can add or remove addresses as needed.

Exporting Individual Vaccines

If you need to print a vaccine certificate with only select vaccines and not all of the vaccines listed in the list, you will select the boxes for the vaccines you wish the include and then select the download/Print Vaccinations List icon. This will then give you the option to generate a PDF or CSV file.
