Unlocking a SOAP is a permission-based feature applied to specific roles by an admin (Admin > Users > Roles). Learn more about roles and permissions here.

Steps to unlock a SOAP:

  1. Locate the appropriate SOAP from the patient's profile

    1. The easiest way is to filter the Patient History section by Type and narrow the results to only SOAPS. They'll be dated and labeled if you named the SOAP

  2. Click the arrow in the box button to enter the SOAP

  3. On the SOAP Summary page, use the Status dropdown to change the SOAP status to Active, In Review, or Lab Pending

  4. The SOAP fields will become editable so you can make applicable changes or additions
