Logging in to the pet portal is quick and easy and as a bonus, clients do not have to remember one more email and password sign-in!
Once the client is on your main portal page, they will select the login button.
After selecting login, the client will enter their email address, phone number, first name, and last name as it is defined within their record in Shepherd.
Co-owner or authorized agent details are not recognized for pet portal login access at this time.
For security, your client will then receive a verification code via email with a 6-digit code to enter for the final login step.
If a client reports they are not receiving a login code shortly after requesting one, please have them confirm this spam inbox, as well as the credential details defined when requesting the code. If any verification details do not match exactly to those defined within the client's profile, a code will not be generated. Only the default phone number is recognized and names my be entered exactly as they appear to include any punctuation, titles, or multiple names.
