ZRL: Integration Setup

The first step in getting your Zoetis Reference Labs integrated with Shepherd.

What you need

  1. Zoetis Reference Labs (ZRL) credentials.

    1. To get this set up contact your Zoetis Diagnostic Technical Specialist (DTS).

Setting up the integration

  1. Open up 'Admin' in Shepherd

  2. Select 'Integrations' from the menu

  3. Choose the Zoetis Reference Labs integration from the list

    1. This will open your practice's ZRL integration page.

From the integration page:

  1. Enter your:

    • Username

    • Clinic ID

    • Password

  2. Click the green Save button

    1. Your credentials will be saved, but they have not been verified yet.

  3. Click on the toggle next to Credentials to make it Active

  4. Click the green Save button again. This will validate your credentials.

Note: If your credentials aren't valid, try again—or contact your Zoetis Diagnostic Technical Specialist.

After your credentials are validated and the Integration is Enabled, this will start the download of Zoetis Reference Lab's diagnostic services into the Lab Integrated Products section of Shepherd (Admin> Products> Lab Integrated Products>ZRL Products).

Expect this process to take between 5–30 minutes to initialize (depending on your internet speed).
