Bundles

Bundles are a group of products and services that are commonly used together when you treat your patients. They help ensure consistent treatment for your patients, as well as consistent payments for those treatments.

To get to Bundles, click ‘Admin’ and then ‘Products.’ From there, click on the ‘Bundles’ tab.

When you’re here, you can:

  • Search for bundles

  • Sort bundles

  • Add a new bundle

  • Edit a bundle

  • Duplicate a bundle

Search for Bundles

To search for a bundle, type its name into the search bar at the top left of the screen. The list below will automatically filter results that have the text you’ve typed in.

Sort Bundles

You can sort bundles in a few ways:

  • Name

  • Last modification date

  • Creator

To sort your bundles list, click the arrows to the right of the ‘Name,’ ‘Last Modified,’ or ‘Created By,’ columns. Results will be sorted chronologically or alphabetically.

Types of Bundles

There are 2 types of bundles you can create: regular and static.

  • Regular bundles are a group of products and/or services where the individual prices of the products and services add up to the total price for the bundle.

    • To create a regular bundle, keep the 'Static Price Bundle' toggled off.

  • Static bundles are a group of products and/or services that have a fixed price for all items, thus overriding the individual product and service prices.

    • To create a static bundle, toggle the 'Static Price Bundle' on.

    • When creating a new static bundle you will need to assign a single product category to the entire bundle, and all of the revenue for the line items in the bundle will be tracked in that single product category.

Note: Once a bundle has been created as either regular or static, it can not be changed to the other bundle type. The toggle remains greyed out once saved for the first time.

Add a New Bundle

To add a new bundle, click the ‘Add New’ button on the right side of the screen.

Tip: you can also add a bundle on the fly when you create an estimate.

Bundles are pretty simple to make. All you need is:

  • A name describing what kind of treatment the bundle is used for

  • A product (there’s no limit to the number of products you can put in a bundle.)

To add products to the bundle

  1. Click on ‘Add Product’

  2. Start typing the name of the product you want to add

  3. Click on the product (or press ‘Enter’ if the product is highlighted)

  4. Repeat for all other products you want to add to the bundle.

For each product, you’ll also be able to add a minimum and maximum quantity, so the estimate can have a high and a low range.

Edit a Bundle

Editing a bundle allows you to:

  • Change the bundle’s name

  • Add products

  • Remove products

  • Change the maximum/minimum product quantities

  • Add Discounts

  • Delete the bundle

Note: After making your edits, be sure to hit ‘Save’ at the bottom of the screen.

Adding Products to a Bundle

To add a product to a bundle:

  1. Select ‘Add Product’

  2. Start typing the name of the product you want to add

  3. Select the product (or press ‘Enter’ if the product is highlighted)

  4. Repeat for all other products you want to add to the bundle.

Note: Bundles can now be nested within one another. See how here.

Removing Products from a Bundle

To remove a product from a bundle, click the ‘remove’ icon (red circle with a white dash through it). You may need to scroll to the right to see the 'remove' icon.

Changing the Minimum or Maximum Values of a Product in a Bundle

To change the minimum or maximum values of a product in a bundle, you can either:

  • Click into the quantity box and manually enter the quantity

  • Use the arrows on the right side of each quantity box to increase or decrease the amount

Adding Discounts to a Bundle

  • Static Bundles

    • Choose from available discount settings when creating or editing a static bundle, including Client or Pet Assure discount eligibility or a custom discount.

    • Set the dose on applicable products added to a static bundle

  • Regular Bundles

    • Add a % or $ discount on any line item when creating or editing a bundle. Custom line item discounts will override any client discount or the Pet Assure discount once administered and put on the invoice.

Deleting a Bundle

To delete a bundle, click on the red ‘Delete’ button in the upper right corner of the screen when within a bundle.

Duplicating a Bundle

To duplicate a bundle, click the 'duplicate' icon under Actions (to the far right of the bundle you wish to duplicate).
