Purpose

The CSI-360 integrates seamlessly with Shepherd to streamline record keeping and improve workflow efficiency. Importing patient from Shepherd allows you to assign doses to patients right from the CSI-360 screen and ensures that DEA compliant reports can be sent straight to your email. CSI-360 integration with Shepherd enhances accuracy, efficiency, and compliance for your practice - giving you more time to focus on patient care.


Patient Integration

  • Assign doses to patients while checking in or dispensing items

  • Provides the latest patient information for each transaction - ensuring reports are always up to date

  • Generate patient-specific reports for easy invoices and record updates

Activating the CSI-360 Integration

Enable the integration in Shepherd

  1. Navigate to Admin β†’ Integrations, find UI Devices: CSI-360 Controlled Substance Cabinet.

  2. Toggle Enable Integration on.

Send activation details to UID (CSI-360)

Email pims@uidevices.com with the following details:

Subject: New activation for Shepherd Practice: [Your Practice Name]

Body: Clinic ID (from Shepherd)

CSI-360 License Key (found in: Settings-->System--> License)

UID will confirm integration status and provide next steps.

Wait for notification from UID before completing the next steps

Enabling Shepherd integration within the CSI-360

  1. From the Dashboard β†’ Settings, select the System tab.

  2. Select License, then press and hold Refresh License.

  3. Wait for CSI-360 to reboot.

  4. Return to Dashboard β†’ Settings β†’ System.

  5. Select the UID Cloud tab.

    • Check I agree to the terms of the EULA.

    • Select Run Cloud Readiness Test.

    • After completion, select Enable UID Cloud Services.

  6. Navigate to the PIMS Settings tab.

  7. Choose Shepherd from the dropdown menu.

    • Check I agree to the terms of the EULA.

    • Select Connect.
