EchoAI generates on-demand patient history summaries for quick reference in SOAPs or profiles, helping you catch up without scrolling.

Purpose

EchoAI gives you a quick way to catch up on a patient’s history. Instead of scrolling through multiple SOAPs and notes, you can generate a summary on demand that pulls together the key details.

Summaries are temporary and are not saved to the patient record. You’ll need to click View Summary each time, and click Regenerate if new details have been added.


How EchoAI Works

  • Summaries are only created when you click View Summary.

  • They disappear when you leave the page.

  • If you add or edit notes after generating, click Regenerate for the latest version.


Where to use EchoAI

Patient Profile

  1. Open the patient’s profile.

  2. Scroll to the Patient Record Summary card.

  3. Click View Summary.

  4. A loading message will appear while EchoAI works.

The summary includes categories like:

  • Medical Conditions

  • Medication & Treatment History

  • Clinical History

  • Care Recommendations

A timestamp shows when the summary was generated. Click Regenerate if new data is available.

Inside a SOAP

  1. Open the SOAP

  2. Look for the Patient Record Summary panel at the top.

  3. Click View Summary.

  4. A loading message appears while EchoAI works.

The summary displays just like it does on the patient profile. If there’s new information, click Regenerate to refresh.


Best Practices

  • Always save your SOAP or notes before generating - EchoAI only pulls saved data.

  • Use Regenerate any time you add new details.

  • Remember: summaries are for quick reference only and will not be saved in the patient record.


FAQ

Can I save the summary into the patient record?
No. Summaries are view-only. They generate on demand and do not remain in the record.

Does EchoAI include attachments like PDFs or images?
No. Summaries are created only from saved SOAPs and patient notes.

Why don’t I see anything when I click View Summary?
If you see “Nothing to summarize yet,” make sure the patient has saved notes or SOAPs.

What if I add more information after generating a summary?
Click Regenerate to update the summary with the latest saved details.
