The Vaccine Report provides a comprehensive, filterable, and exportable table for reviewing all administered or due vaccinations across patients. With multiple filtering options and extensive data columns, this report helps track vaccine compliance, inventory usage, and patient demographics efficiently.

✅ Using the Vaccine Report – Step-by-Step

1. Select the Time Period

  • Field: Time Period (Required)

  • Action: Choose from predefined options (e.g., This Month, Last Month) or a custom date range.

  • Purpose: Filters the report based on vaccine due date or administration date.


2. Choose Reporting Criteria

  • Field: Run Report By (Required)

  • Options:

    • Due Date – Shows vaccines scheduled to be administered.

    • Date Administered – Displays vaccinations that have already been given.

📌 This selection determines which date field drives the report’s results.


3. Select Vaccine Type

  • Field: Vaccine Type

  • Options:

    • All Vaccines – Returns every vaccination record.

    • Rabies Only – Filters for rabies vaccine entries.


4. Include Archived Vaccinations (Optional)

  • Toggle on to include historical/archived vaccinations in the report.

  • Toggle off (default) to view only active records.


5. Run the Report

  • Click the View Report button to generate the table based on selected filters.

  • The full report will populate as a single, scrollable table with comprehensive details.

  • Invoice Line Name

  • Label Name

  • Vaccination Name

  • Manufacturer

  • Serial Number

  • Lot Number

  • Lot Expiration

  • Vaccination Due Date

  • Vaccination Administration Date

  • Rabies Tag Number

🔹 Patient Information

  • Patient ID

  • Patient Name

  • Species

  • Breed

  • Color

  • Sex (of animal)

  • Date of Birth (of animal)

  • Status (Active/Archived)

🔹 Client Information

  • Client ID

  • Client Full Name

  • Email

  • Phone

  • Full Address

🧭 All columns can be sorted and filtered using the icons next to each column header.


📤 Viewing & Download Options

You can interact with the report in three ways:

  • View Report (button): Generate an interactive visual within Shepherd.

  • Download (button): Get a copy of the full current report as a PDF or CSV.

  • Table Specific CSV Download: A quick download of the current table in CSV format for spreadsheet use.


🔄 Clearing the Report

  • Click Clear to reset all filters and selections.


💡 Tips for Efficient Use

  • Use “Rabies Only” for compliance tracking and tag management.

  • Run by “Due Date” for scheduling upcoming vaccinations.

  • Toggle Archived Vaccinations if you’re conducting a full history audit.

  • Export regularly for inventory planning or regulatory needs.
