Adding Product Counts

Note: in order to add a count for a product, you'll need to have added it to the inventory management tool.

To take a product count, navigate to the 'Counts' section of inventory (Inventory > Counts).

Once you're here, click the 'Add New' button in the upper right hand corner of the screen. This will populate a new count modal, where you'll need to input:

  • User: the Shepherd user who's doing the count

  • The date: you can schedule in the future if you want to assign this to a team member

  • The location (optional): this changes the products in the count to only be those from this location

  • Notes: any notes about the count (optional)

Once that information's been added, click 'Save.'

After the count's been saved, click it to open it. This will open a new count screen with all the products from the selected location.

To add an updated count quantity, click the 'Edit' icon on the right side of the screen under 'Actions' (pink, above).

This will generate a modal where you'll be able to add the actual quantity of the products on hand.

After you've entered the quantity all items, click the 'Finalize' button at the top of the page. Or, if you want to finalize item-by-item, click the check icon under 'Actions.'
